Greetings. Thank you for your interest in me. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I graduated with my Psy.D. in 2004 from Adler University in Chicago. I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling from Marquette University in 1996. I feel that I work well with anyone if there are “points of connection,” but I have spent a lot of time working with people who have anxiety and depression, social anxiety disorder, academic performance issues, ADHD, substance use disorders, process addictions, PTSD and trauma work, such as childhood trauma, ACOA, etc.. I started helping others in this capacity in in 1996. The orientations or theories that guide my practice now are: The psychology of Alfred Adler (Adlerian), Interpersonal, Narrative, and Cognitive-Behavioral. I believe in a Construcivist-Narrative approach, which focuses on creating cohesive personal narratives and a sense of consistency to improve emotional well-being.
I have specific expertise in psychological testing of multiple referral questions, including: ADHD, academic performance issues, specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), career focused assessments, forensic assessments, and testing to determine diagnosis and treatment plan.
My interests outside of work include: my dog Zack, golf, music, hockey, and F1
