Independent Clinician/Therapist/Counselor/Psychologist

  This is a group private practice in Moline IL and Davenport IA, providing mental health, psychological, and forensic services to children, adolescents and adults. Looking for clinicians to join our practice (on either a part or a full time basis) at both sites. Seeking licensed independent clinicians (licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LISW, LCPC, etc.) who have experience working with children, adolescents and families. Clinicians must be licensed for independent practice.

Billing and secretary services are provided.

Requirements: Clinician(s) MUST be licensed for independent practice (completed 2 years supervised experience after a Master's Degree). Experience with children and adolescents preferred.

Receptionist Job Description

We are looking for an afternoon & evening Receptionist/Office Assistant, Monday-Friday, 16-20 hours per week to start with, who is flexible with shifts assignments, e.g., noon to 8 pm, and willing to travel to our Davenport office. This position can develop into a full time position if candidate is fully trained and the skill sets are developed. This position also has the opportunities to grow into a more specialized role in the future if specialty is developed during the employment, along with pay increases accordingly.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service; greet clients and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and update appointment calendars
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, such as helping clients filling out paperwork, copying, filing and maintaining paper or electronic documents and records
  • Strictly maintain confidentiality; report to the supervisor regarding to ethical or illegal conduct.
  • Basic office janitorial and maintenance responsibilities, such as making clients coffees, dumping trash, vacuuming, cleaning the counters, etc.
  • Opening and closing the office.
  • Responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support clinicians, CEO, manager, and other staff in the office by completing assigned tasks within the company policy and job descriptions.

Receptionist Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree in related fields are required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, forensics and legal knowledge, and electronic medical record experience strongly preferred
  • Efficiency, integrity, and strong organizational skills
  • Prior experience as a receptionist, with experiences such as medical scheduling, insurance verification, and preauthorization preferred.
  • Daily medical billing; may learn on the job
  • Professional dress code and manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills required
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
  • Sufficient ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making

Job Types: Part-time & possibly Full-time.

Salary: Depending on experiences, competency, expertise, and motivation, $16-$20 hourly
