Hello! My name is Heather, and I am a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health therapist with over 17 years of experience in helping individuals navigate life's challenges, reduce symptoms, and facilitate personal growth. My mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgement.
I hold a Master of Social Work from St. Ambrose University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults and families, addressing a wide array of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance abuse, and life transitions.
I believe it is important that we work collaboratively to help you acquire the tools you need to help work towards your goals. I know that no single approach is right for every individual and I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to each person’s unique strengths and needs, implementing a variety of treatment strategies such as CBT, DBT, and Person-centered.
