
Tammi White is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who provides therapy for adolescents and adults age 13 and older. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from St. Ambrose University and has more than 25 years of experience in social services, including 16 years as a licensed mental health therapist.
Tammi has worked with a variety of clients and presenting concerns across her career. Her background includes experience supporting adolescents and adults with emotional, behavioral, relational, and life-adjustment concerns.
Tammi describes her work as client-centered and strength-based, with treatment guided by the needs and goals of the individual client.
Tammi is certified in EMDR therapy and uses a variety of treatment approaches based on client needs, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy.
Tammi works with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, life changes and transitions, anger and frustration tolerance, stress, self-esteem, and domestic violence.
