feelings and find a path forward. My name is Ali Brown, and I am a Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor. I graduated from Roosevelt University with a Masters in Clinical
Psychology. I primarily work with individuals who are experiencing stress, anxiety,
depression, have ongoing or past trauma(s), and/or in need or making behavioral
change. I am here to offer a space to safely express thoughts and feelings while helping
lead clients towards a future where they feel confident and empowered to make positive
changes for themselves.
I have experience working with all ages, notably adults. I have practiced in community
mental health and inpatient settings. My personal approach to treating clients is
grounded in openness and collaboration. I am trained in and use Cognitive-Behavior
Therapy (CBT) as my main modality, but I am also informed by positive psychology and
compassion-focused approaches. I work in a trauma-informed manner. However, I do
use other methods and interventions to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to the
client’s therapeutic needs.
I believe everyone has the potential to create positive change in their life. Together, our
goal is to cultivate strengths and to move beyond surviving, to flourishing. I am
dedicated to helping clients gain relief from symptoms and improve quality of life. No
matter what you are facing, you do not have to face it alone.
